STACEY KUMAGAI - Producer/Marketing and Promotions
Creativity and promotion with clarity and purpose, passion, drive, vision and integrity. That's Stacey Kumagai. She boasts a career spanning over two decades in the entertainment/media industry as a professional whose expertise encompasses radio and television broadcasting, internet, independent film, theatre, advertising, marketing, promotions, public relations and music production and she's a published author. Her entire career has been devoted to promoting, publicizing, producing and executing projects involving humanitarian and philanthropic efforts in association with passionate individuals and organizations involved in activi9sm and the entertainment arts. After graduating from The Academy of Radio Broadcasting, Stacey built her talent career on mic, camera and runway as a radio host, television and feature film actress and model. Simultaneously, she began producing and writing in the field. Through these beginnings, Stacey migrated to becoming a broadcast media relations specialist, organizing international, national and local media coverage of fairs, trade shows and other live events, producing and creating P.R. campaigns along the way. A public relations spokesperson on over 700 national and international radio and TV broadcasts, Stacey is the BBC's 'go-to-guru' at Oscar-time. She has worked as a mentor, teacher, coach, motivator and counselor empowering young college women in broadcasting in addition to producing numerous Genii Awards programs, which provided scholarships for college students nationwide. She also served on theBoard of Directors for the Southern California chapter of American Women in Radio and Television, a sub-division of the NAB. After receiving her Advertising Communications certificate from UC Irvine, Stacey redefined herself as the southland's Media Monster, president of Media Monster Communications, Inc./BrainGASM Productions. Staying the path with education and empowering with information and inspiration, Stacey has worked with a number of environmentally conscious client projects. From organic food and cleaning products to working with the Environmental Media Association's Earth Day events, she infuses the cross-pollination technique of all she enjoys. Stacey's 'P.R. with a Purpose' stays true to the green course. With a career that has spanned all facets of communication, given this cutting-edge positioning which also includes online media relations, global awareness, media branding, visibility and leverage with production and event mangement, she is a BrainGASMing Media Monster.
