MICHAEL T. McNERNEY - Executive Producer
For nearly 30 years, Michael has seasoned himself in every aspect of entertainment. Beginning on-air in radio, in markets from Beloit, Wisconsin to Worcester, Massachusetts to Phoenix, Arizona to San Francisco, he soon transitioned to Production Director, where he honed his creative skills writing, producing and sometimes voicing award winning and critically acclaimed local, regional and national radio commercials. Taking that experience a step farther, in 1987 Michael partnered in an audio recording studio in the San Francisco market, introducing him to the business side of the industry. Looking to break the 'sound' barrier, Michael took his degree in broadcast production from Arizona State University and expanded his horizons to television and film, working his way from location sound mixer to production and camera assistant (to learn other ropes), camera operator, music video DP and on to membership in the DGA as an assistant director, with credits that include top network shows and major motion pictures. As a writer, Michael has created vivid images in produced radio theatre shows as well as spec episodes for situation comedy programs and currently has his action/adventure screenplay, "Captive Freedom" out on option. His diverse experience in every area of entertainment has well prepared him for this multi-media venture.
